The Sackets of America gives John 10 ch, but the details shown do not prove out. For now I am listing the two I find birth records for, plus Catherine, who is given in more than one source.
...is frequently mentioned in early records of Dutchess County in connection with sales of real estate. In a deed given by him to one Moses Harris for 3,497 acres of land that had been a part of his father's estate, he is referred to as "John Sackett of Dover, sole executor and youngest son of Capt. Richard Sackett." In Hunting's "History of Little Nine Partners," a facsimile of his signature is shown. After about 1760 he resided at Stephentown.

Verify and get full documentation. Jabez is reportedly brother of Deliverance Mosher who married Levi Preston. I do not see a relationship between Levi and the Dover Preston's; however, Levi's descendants wind up next door to the descendants of Luke Wolcott in Otselic, NY, and Lorenzo Richer, who may also be related to Thomas Wolcott's second wife.
